Scheduling
Author read-aloud visits are scheduled based on availability outside of regular school teaching hours, including after-school programs, evening literacy events, select Saturdays, and scheduled school break days. Limited weekday daytime availability may be offered during school holidays or pre-arranged dates.
Pricing
Author read-aloud session pricing is based on the number of sessions and visit format. Customized packages are available to meet the needs of each school.
Travel
For schools located outside the local service area, travel reimbursement may apply and may include standard mileage and, if overnight travel is required, lodging at the school-arranged or standard conference rate. Final travel details are confirmed in advance during the booking process.
Booking Confirmation
Visits are confirmed once the event date, session details, and contact information are finalized. A confirmation email outlining the visit schedule and expectations will be provided.
Payment
Payment and invoicing details will be provided upon booking confirmation. Schools may submit payment according to district purchasing procedures when applicable.
Cancellations / Rescheduling
If a scheduling change is necessary, schools are encouraged to provide as much notice as possible so a new date can be arranged based on availability.
